Ningbo Foreign Affairs School and Bundesgymnasium Babenbergerring in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, have signed a sister-school agreement, marking a new chapter in educational and youth exchanges between the two cities.

Under the agreement, the two schools will promote student and teacher exchanges, joint curriculum development, and cultural exchanges, helping young people broaden their international horizons and deepen cross-cultural understanding.

The partnership builds on the longstanding friendship between Ningbo and Wiener Neustadt. The two cities' young people first connected through a drone exchange program, developing friendships through hands-on activities and technology.

Representatives from Ningbo's foreign affairs, education, and youth authorities, along with school leaders and student representatives from both sides, attended the signing ceremony. Sixteen Chinese and Austrian students also received certificates recognizing their participation in the exchange.

The new partnership is expected to bring fresh momentum to people-to-people ties between Ningbo and Wiener Neustadt, while creating more opportunities for young people to learn from one another and experience different cultures.
