A six-day street dance exchange bringing together 300 young dancers from both sides of the Taiwan Strait opened on Aug 26 in Quzhou, Zhejiang province.

The event brought together 100 young street dancers from Taiwan and 200 from the Chinese mainland for dance competitions and cultural exchanges.

Participants also visited sites in Quzhou to learn about local culture, history, and emerging industries. Some visited the Meigao Short Drama Super Factory, a filming base in Qujiang district, while others toured the Memorial Hall to the Doolittle Raid in Quzhou.

They also took part in activities related to Confucian culture, participating in a traditional ceremony and learning about Confucian traditions.
