Quzhou companies deepen business ties with Central Asia
Companies in Quzhou, Zhejiang province, are strengthening business links with Central Asia, with some already operating in the region and others seeking new cooperation opportunities.
Zhejiang Qilong New Material Technology, a PVC‑wallpaper‑making company based in Changshan county, has built a stable foreign trade network across five Central Asian countries. Qilong's sales in the region reached 55 million yuan ($8.19 million) in the first seven months of 2026, and full‑year sales are expected to exceed 100 million yuan.
The company drives growth via monthly product launches, production‑line automation upgrades, and overseas sales teams tracking market trends.
Zhejiang Yonghe Refrigerant reported 3.13 billion yuan in operating revenue in the first half of 2026, up 28.16 percent year‑on‑year. Yonghe holds 78 patents, including 31 invention patents, ranking among the world's top 20 fluorochemical companies, according to Ai Chuchu, general manager of Yonghe's international trade department. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries and regions, including Kyrgyzstan.
Zhejiang Zhongtian Oriental Fluorine & Silicon Material joined a Zhejiang Council for the Promotion of International Trade business mission to Kyrgyzstan to display its organic silicon industrial chain in June. A Kyrgyz decoration company expressed interest in importing its construction sealants, said Ye Jianhui, the company's marketing director.
By the end of August, Quzhou had arranged for local businesses to participate in 342 international exhibitions, recording 678 company participations and potential deals worth 4.72 billion yuan.
