At a workshop in Tongxiang, a county-level city in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, the iLoabot-M robot developed by Sainade can carry up to 80 kilograms of goods, handle nearly 1,000 boxes per hour, and process cartons, soft packages, and irregularly shaped items.

The company completed a Series C financing round this year, bringing its total to nearly 700 million yuan ($104.31 million) and attracting investment from several major industrial investors.

Automation in logistics loading and unloading remains relatively low, at about 20 percent, posing a major industry challenge. Sainade and Tsinghua University jointly launched a domain-specific large language model for logistics loading and unloading this June, enabling robots to anticipate working conditions and independently plan their movements based on the experience of skilled workers.

The robots have been deployed in warehouses operated by several leading companies and exported to more than 20 countries, serving a range of industries.

Sainade also exemplifies the growth of Tongxiang's emerging "new trio" industries, with robotics, AI, and innovative pharmaceuticals developing rapidly.
