A range of embodied AI robots developed in Nanhu district, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, have moved from factories into real-world settings, including schools, hotels, traffic intersections, and government buildings, serving as convenient AI assistants.

In the first half of this year, revenue and profits in Nanhu's AI industry rose 90 percent year-on-year, ranking first in Jiaxing. The district has also made steady progress in putting AI applications into practical use.

The robots can perform a variety of tasks, including greeting and guiding visitors, assisting with traffic management, cleaning and patrolling, and interactive entertainment. Supported by local innovation platforms and dedicated policies, Nanhu is accelerating the large-scale adoption of AI applications, with services such as intelligent campuses and AI-assisted medical screening becoming more widespread, bringing smart technologies further into residents' daily lives.
