The 2026 Hengdian Film and TV Festival will be held from Oct 23 to 28 in Dongyang, a county-level city of Jinhua, Zhejiang province.

As this year marks the 30th anniversary of Hengdian World Studios, the event will offer a unique lens into the transformation of China's film industry and the fusion of culture and technology.

The 12th Wenrong Awards Ceremony will take place at the Qin Palace in Hengdian World Studios on Oct 24. This comprehensive award, covering both film and television, is dedicated to highlighting young talent and providing them with their first major accolades.

The ceremony will also introduce Hengdian World Studios' new brand proposition, "Give Life Multiple Imaginations," using its rich history of cinematic scenes and cultural experiences to engage a wider audience.

Since 2020, the annual China Film Promotion Conference in Hengdian has been a key industry event. From Oct 24 to 27, the China (Hengdian) International Film Market and the 30th National Film Promotion Conference will focus on "Film plus," showcasing 2026 New Year films and 2027 key releases, with international film trade booths linking global creators and industry partners.

The festival will also include new art forms like short dramas and immersive performances, fostering deep connections between creators, the industry, and the public.
