Foreign-funded enterprises reported higher satisfaction with Zhejiang's business environment, according to the Zhejiang Provincial Foreign-related Business Environment Evaluation Report 2025/2026 released in Hangzhou on Sept 17.

The report gave Zhejiang's foreign-related business environment an overall satisfaction score of 4.45 out of 5, up 0.22 points from the previous year. Surveyed enterprises widely recognized the trade environment, human resource supply, financial services, and infrastructure.

The report also found that foreign-funded enterprises in Zhejiang maintained generally stable operations, strong investment confidence, and high overall satisfaction. Amid a complex external environment, companies have become more cautious while remaining committed to long-term development in the province.

Over the past year, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhejiang Provincial Committee collected 1,252 valid questionnaires from foreign-funded enterprises. It also held 87 meetings, made 1,071 on-site company visits, conducted 4,358 telephone surveys, and collected 695 comments and requests from enterprises.

The survey covered all prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang and included companies from different investment sources, industries, and sizes.

This year's report added French and German editions to the existing Chinese and English versions. The event unveiled all four versions.
