Ningbo sprinter Chen Yujie added another gold medal to her Asian Games collection on Sept 28, helping China win the women's 4x100m relay title at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

China's team of Liang Xiaojing, Liu Guoyi, Liu Xiaojun, and Chen clocked 42.96 seconds in the final. Running the anchor leg, Chen took the baton for the final stretch and powered across the line to secure gold.

This relay victory capped a remarkable Asian Games debut for the 17-year-old. Earlier in the Games, she won the women's 100m title in 11.06 seconds, breaking both the Asian Games record and Asian U20 record, before claiming silver in the women's 200m.

Chen has become an important member of China's women's sprint relay team, competing in major international relay events and gaining experience in different positions, from the opening leg to the anchor role, as the team continues to improve its coordination.

With three medals in Nagoya, Chen has emerged as one of China's most promising young sprinters. Her performances at the Asian Games have highlighted both her individual speed and her ability to contribute to team success on the international stage.
