Three athletes from Huzhou, Zhejiang province, have completed their matches at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Shooter Han Jiayu and canoeist Ji Bowen won five gold medals between them, while basketball player Li Yuezhou made his debut in a senior continental competition for China.

On Sept 26, Han joined Wang Zifei and Zhang Liyuan to win the women's 50m rifle 3 positions team event, delivering China's 100th gold of the Games. She then won the individual title with a score of 359.0, setting an Asian record.

Earlier, Han had partnered with Wang and Du Yuchen to win the women's 10m air rifle team event on Sept 20, with the trio also breaking the world record.

Ji, from Anji county, secured two canoe sprint titles. He and Wu Shengyue won the men's canoe double 500m in 1 min 40.741 sec on Sept 24. The following day, Ji won the canoe single 500m in 1:47.338, finishing 0.607 seconds ahead of the runner-up.

Li, 19, from Changxing county, scored nine points against Kazakhstan, 18 against Bahrain while shooting 6-for-6 from the field, and 11 in China's third group match.

China later lost to Japan and Iran to finish fourth. Although Li did not take home a medal, the tournament gave him valuable experience early in his senior international career.
