Twenty-three African students from Zhejiang Normal University visited Jindong district in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Oct 10 to learn how the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) conducts grassroots democratic consultation.
They toured the people's livelihood council hall in Xiaoshun town, Lipu town's integrated forest and nursery industrial park, and Ronma Solar Energy Group in Jiangdong town.

Through on-site observation and exchanges, the students gained insights into the operational mechanisms, practical results, and distinctive strengths of the CPPCC grassroots democratic consultation.
The event aimed to give African youth an immersive understanding of the role of grassroots CPPCC members and how the people's livelihood council hall operates. It also sought to build a communication platform between African youth and local Africa-related enterprises, promoting economic connectivity and mutual learning.
