Legal scholars from Zhejiang and business representatives met in Hangzhou on Nov 3 to discuss the legal support enterprises need as they grow.

Organized by the Zhejiang Law Society as part of the eighth World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention, the meeting brought together nearly 150 participants, including officials, legal experts, and entrepreneurs.

Experts addressed the business environment, corporate criminal risks, and legal support for overseas expansion. Business representatives raised questions drawn from their operations in face-to-face exchanges with scholars.

Zhejiang plans to establish a regular mechanism for collecting and responding to companies' legal service needs and promote joint research between businesses, universities, and research institutes. It will also expand support for managing overseas legal risks and develop professionals with expertise in both law and business.
