The Hengdian College of Movie & Television is the only school in East China's Zhejiang province offering courses in film and television.
The school is located in the Hengdian World Studios, also known as "China's Hollywood", located in Jinhua city in Zhejiang.
The college has six secondary schools: the School of Film and Television Performance, the School of Film and Television Production, the School of Film and Television Fine Arts, School of Film and Television Tourism, the School of Film and Television Economics and the School of Continuing Education.
Relying on the resources of the Hengdian World Studios – reportedly the world's largest film and television shooting base – the school participates in the shooting and production of various films and TV series, while a large number of its teachers and students participate in related work.
The school also pays special attention to international exchanges and has established friendly links with many overseas universities and colleges, providing a platform for students to further their professional studies and enhance their academic qualifications.
