Jinhua Shuanglong Scenic Area Tourist Center debuts

The tourist center of the Jinhua Shuanglong (Double Dragon) Scenic Area – located at the northern edge of downtown Jinhua city in East China's Zhejiang province – reportedly started trial operations on Sept 19 to great fanfare.

With a planned area of 300 square kilometers, the scenic area is understood to boast impressive natural attractions as well as diverse cultural landscapes featuring Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.

It is currently rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot, but is understood to be set to become a 5A-level scenic attraction.

The newly opened tourist center provides services including ticket sales, information stands, storage facilities, rest stations, a tour guide, shopping, restaurants and food outlets and entertainment.

There are barrier-free passages, baby-care rooms, accessible toilets and other facilities.

More than 1,000 parking spaces are available, which are easy to locate through an intelligent guidance system accessible via smart phones.
