This is the 600th China-Europe train trip this year, a new record high and a year-on-year increase of 59 percent.

The cargo on the train is worth over 15.4 million yuan ($2.42 million) and includes textiles, auto parts, groceries and hardware. The train is expected to complete the 6,000-kilometer trip in 10 days.

There are currently 18 China-Europe freight train routes that connect Jinhua to more than 120 cities in France, Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Central Asia. These routes have now become the preferred international transportation approach for goods in Zhejiang or the Yangtze River Delta that are bound for Europe.

China-Europe freight trains have helped enterprises solve problems related to transporting foreign goods in a time when the pandemic has affected international transport capacity.

Moving forward, the railway departments of Jinhua will improve the quality and efficiency of China-Europe freight train services and bring more benefits to countries, enterprises and people along the routes.
