Jinhua attractions to celebrate China Tourism Day

Over 30 scenic spots in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, will offer half-priced or free tickets to visitors on China Tourism Day, which began in 2011 and falls on May 19 every year.

The move is part of a series of public benefit activities inspired by the festival to be held nationwide.

Many popular scenic spots will offer discounted tickets, including Jinhua Shuanglong scenic area, Jinhua Yusi Eco-tourism scenic spot, Jinhua Agricultural Culture Park, and Tangxi Temple in Pinggu village.

Visitors to the Jinhua Shuanglong scenic area can buy one ticket and get one free from May 20 to June 19. Individual guests who pay 80 yuan ($11.87) for one ticket will be gifted a ticket to the Shuanglong Amusement Park or a return ticket for a sightseeing bus in the scenic area.

The Jinhua Shuanglong scenic area will also offer 519 tickets valued at 9.9 yuan on online travel apps on May 19.

The Jinhua Yusi Eco-tourism scenic spot will offer a 50-percent discount on its package ticket, allowing visitors to tour a glass bridge and a slide and go rafting for just 85 yuan.

People will also be able to visit Jinhua New Energy Vehicle Town, Tangxi Jiufeng Mountain, Lanxi Liudong Mountain scenic area, and Lanxi Bailu Mountain scenic area for free.
