Jinhua summit highlights digital trade

The 2022 Zhejiang Jinhua Digital Trade Summit Forum, a supporting event of the Global Digital Trade Expo to be held in Hangzhou on Dec 11, was held in Lanxi, Jinhua on Dec 2.

The event was held both onsite and offline and sponsored by the local government of Jinhua under the guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce.

More than 100 government officials, industrial insiders and representatives from related enterprises took part in the event in-person.

During the event, experts and scholars from pioneering digital trade institutions such as the Global Alliance for Trade in Services, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and Zhejiang University, as well as representatives of leading enterprises, discussed important topics such as digital industrialization, industrial digitalization, and trade digitalization, providing useful suggestions for the development of digital trade in Jinhua.

The top 20 enterprises engaged in digital trade services were named at the event. They are involved in cross-border e-commerce manufacturing services, digital cultural film and television services, and digital supply chain services. The listed enterprises included 10 cross-border e-commerce manufacturing enterprises, as well as two that have also been listed among the top 100 digital trade enterprises in Zhejiang province.

An annual report on the development of digital trade in Jinhua in 2022 was also released. The report analyzes the development characteristics and strengths and weaknesses of Jinhua's digital trade, sorts out existing problems and puts forward suggestions for future development.
