Jinhua to build digital manufacturing center

Zhejiang Zhengxiang Zengcai Manufacturing Co agreed to build its headquarters and digital manufacturing center in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province on Dec 12 at a signing ceremony held during the first Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou.

According to the deal, the company will spend 5.08 billion yuan ($741.3 million0) building a digital manufacturing center in Wucheng district in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards, including the construction of the group's headquarters, a production center for additive manufacturing equipment, an empowerment center, a joint scientific research center, a printing service center, and an industry application sector.

The first phase of the project will be based on digital manufacturing technology. In the future, the company will increase investment and expansion, invest more in the direction of industrial applications with outstanding achievements, and expand capacity and production.

Zhejiang Zhengxiang Zengcai Manufacturing Co is a high-tech company based in Hangzhou involved in additive manufacturing equipment, materials, industrial software, additive manufacturing technology applications and operational services. It is also the only company in China that has achieved fully independent and localized 3D printing.

The first Global Digital Trade Expo was held in Hangzhou on Dec 11 to 14. One of its sub-events, the Zhijiang Digital Trade Main Forum, was held on Dec 12, during which agreements for 24 major digital trade cooperation projects were signed, involving key industries such as digital economy, headquarters economy, life and health, new energy and new materials, with a contracted amount of 49.3 billion yuan.
