Jinhua enterprises take part in first Global Digital Trade Expo

A total of 38 enterprises based in Jinhua took part in the the first Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on Dec 11 to 14.

The expo's cross-border e-commerce pavilion brought together nearly 300 companies related to the entire industrial chain of cross-border e-commerce, including the Jinhua Haoxie Plastic Industry Co.

The company's products, including a plastic Santa Claus on a three-dimensional base and colorful birthday balloons, attracted many visitors.

Chen Haoqing, general manager of the company, said the expo is a good platform to promote the company's products. The company has received many overseas orders recently, which will be delivered before August next year. The company's exports so far this year are valued at 12 million yuan ($1.75 million).

In addition to special exhibition halls, there are 74 companies in the Zhejiang exhibition area showcasing the latest technology and digital trade achievements. Jinhua also displayed its digital service online system for the Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe freight train, as well as the Yiwu small commodity digital free trade application and cross-border e-commerce comprehensive test area.

In 2021, Jinhua's digital foreign trade was valued at 78.4 billion yuan, ranking third in Zhejiang province. From January to October 2022, the city's total digital foreign trade was valued at 73.4 billion yuan.
