Two companies based in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, were listed among the 18 provincial cultural industry demonstration bases in 2022, according to local media outlets.

The list was made by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism in an effort to further cultivate leading enterprises in the cultural industry, set up demonstrations and models for cultural enterprises, and accelerate the integration and innovative development of the province’s cultural industry.

The two listed companies are Zhejiang Ancient Wu Kiln Fire Ceramic Culture Co and Yiwu China Commodity City Exhibition Co.

The Wuzhou kiln is one of the six famous celadon kilns in ancient China with a history of more than 3,000 years. Zhejiang Ancient Wu Kiln Fire Ceramic Culture Co, established in 2009, is located in the Jiangdong Low Hill and Gentle Slope Comprehensive Park in Jindong district, Jinhua.

The company works on the preservation, integration and innovation of Jinhua ancient kilns, aiming to carry forward the traditional craftsmanship and artistic essence of the Wuzhou kiln and imbue it with modern life and culture.

Yiwu China Commodity City Exhibition Co, established in 1998, is a professional exhibition enterprise integrating domestic and overseas exhibition organization, exhibition hall management, and exhibition-related supporting services. With booming economic development in Yiwu, the company aims to promote trade in the city through industrial exhibitions.
