The local government of Pujiang county in Jinhua has been working to incentivize enterprises to seize business opportunities in overseas markets, according to local media outlets.

In 2022, Pujiang helped 44 companies carry out economic and trade activities abroad, achieving deals worth over $18 million.

At the beginning of December, 2022, Pujiang and the Zhejiang Quilting Crafts Association arranged for six quilting enterprises to go to Macau to participate in the Macau International Consumer Goods and Household Products Expo. The delegation achieved intended transactions worth about $5 million.

Yang Haiqing, general manager of Pujiang Yilante Clothing Co, attended the 2022 World Trade Expo Saudi with the support of the local government.

Yang was excited to go to Saudi Arabia for the first time in three years. During the event, Yang communicated with many buyers from the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Egypt, Sudan, and Jordan and achieved preliminary agreements for many orders.

Pujiang plans to make more efforts to help local enterprises seek business opportunities overseas. In January, four enterprises and seven business representatives from Pujiang will join in a Dongyang business delegation to Japan. In February, the county's government leaders will take a business delegation to carry out economic and trade activities in Russia.
