With the Spring Festival approaching, Spring Festival and the Lantern Festival decoration are expected to be installed in the city's streets, alleys, residential areas, communities, parks, scenic spots, business districts, industrial parks and other areas, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
Various large-scale Spring Festival lanterns have already been put up in the city's downtown area and are scheduled to be lit on Jan 16. The lanterns will be lit from 6 pm to 9 pm every day. During the Spring Festival (from Jan 21 to 27) and the Lantern Festival (Feb 5), lights will be on from 6 pm until the end of the day.
In celebration of the Year of the Rabbit, Spring Festival lanterns in Jinhua will feature images of rabbits as well as local cultural items such as Wuju opera, tea flowers and bench dragon dances.
