Jinhua to promote high-quality economic development

The local government of Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province released several policies to promote high-quality economic development on Feb 6, according to local media outlets.

The city plans to spend 32.84 billion yuan ($4.84 billion) carrying out 56 measures in eight key areas, including expansion of effective investment, technological innovation, cultivation of industrial clusters, high-quality development of modern service industries, construction of international inland ports and comprehensive transportation hubs, expansion of domestic demand and opening-up, rural revitalization and integrated development of urban and rural areas, and protection and improvement of people's livelihoods.

The city will promote the construction of 100 key projects in 10 major industries, with the goal of increasing investment in fixed assets by more than 10 percent.

A total of 100 business delegations participated in by over 4,000 local enterprises will be incentivized by the local government to go overseas and attract foreign investment in an effort to promote opening-up.

The city will spend 789 million yuan on the high-quality development of modern service industries such as information services, integrated circuits and software, human resource services, and cultural tourism.
