A delegation led by Jinhua Party Secretary Zhu Chonglie visited the Czech Republic and Germany for economic and trade investigations from Feb 23 to March 2.

During the visit, a total of 16 foreign affairs and business activities were conducted, achieving a total investment and trade amount of $834 million.

The Czech Station of the Belt and Road Initiative was established in 2017, serving as an important platform for Zhejiang province to make plans and cooperate with the Czech Republic.

The China (Jinhua) - Czech Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference was held in the government building of Pilsen Region on Feb 24. Zhu said he hopes Jinhua and Pilsen Region will deepen practical cooperation in manufacturing, international trade, and cultural exchanges.

During the visit to the Czech Republic, Zhu paid a visit to Feng Biao, Chinese Ambassador to the Czech Republic, and participated in relevant activities. Both sides agreed to jointly promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields, such as Sino-Czech economics and trade, culture, education, and health.

The delegation also visited the Asia-Pacific Sourcing in Germany and talked with 66 Jinhua enterprises participating in the event. Zhu encouraged entrepreneurs to boost their confidence in development and display new technologies, new products, and new ideas and participate in the reshaping of the global industrial chain.

During the China (Jinhua) - Germany Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference held in Frankfurt, Zhu introduced Jinhua's business environment and policies to more than 90 well-known enterprises. Twelve agreements were signed, including one on the construction of a European dispatch center for China-Europe freight train containers.
