Spring tea picking begins in Wuyi

As spring arrives, tea lovers are enjoying their first cup of green tea of the year. In Wuyi, known as the "Organic Tea Village of China," approximately 110,000 mu (7,333.33 hectares) of spring tea has entered the harvest season.

About 20,000 mu of tea plantations producing high-end famous teas such as "Wu Yang Chun Yu" and "Longjing" have already entered harvest. Tea picking is expected to last for over two months.

Wuyi has a long history of tea cultivation, and the organic tea produced in the area has won numerous awards. In recent years, Wuyi has been actively promoting the development of its tea industry, and the area's tea production has grown rapidly.
