Jinhua becomes home to three new rural museums

Three rural museums in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, were listed among the first group of provincial rural museums in 2023, the Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau announced on International Museum Day on May 18.

Here are some details on the three museums.

Polaroid Camera Museum

Located in Youbu Ancient Town in Lanxi, a county-level city in Jinhua, the Polaroid Camera Museum displays cameras of multiple brands, functions, and ages.

The museum also features a photo studio and an experience area.

Exhibition Hall of Cao Juren's Achievements

Located in Juren village in Lanxi, the Exhibition Hall of Cao Juren's Achievements focuses on Cao Juren's lifetime achievements and is a great place to experience Cao's revolutionary and patriotic spirit.

Cao Juren (1900-1972), who was born in Juren village, was a renowned news reporter and writer in the Republic of China era (1912-1949).

Tong Yutang Revolutionary Memorial Museum

Located in Lanxi's Shangxinwu village, the 438-square-meter Tong Yutang Revolutionary Memorial Museum showcases Tong Yutang's revolutionary achievements.

Tong was the first Lanxi native to join the Chinese Communist Party.

Jinhua is currently home to 70 rural museums, according to authorities.
