Pan'an county's dendrobium candidum plantation and Wuyi county's Tang Dynasty-style hot spring resort in Jinhua, Zhejiang province have been listed as provincial traditional Chinese medicine health tourism demonstration bases, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism announced on Dec 11.

Twelve places in the province made the list.

Founded in 2009, the dendrobium candidum plantation offers facilities for cultivation, scientific research, production, sales, education, experiential activities, and sightseeing.

The plantation has developed health products such as fresh strips of dendrobium candidum and ultra-fine powder of dendrobium candidum and is also developing and verifying four health product formulas: dendrobium candidum anti-fatigue oral liquid, dendrobium candidum wine, dendrobium candidum pills, and dendrobium candidum throat-clearing lozenges.

It has held four consecutive dendrobium candidum flower festivals since 2017.

The hot spring resort, located in the Hushan Mountain Forest Park, is a one-of-a-kind garden-style hot spring in China that showcases the charm of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It includes a four-star hot spring resort hotel, a garden-style hot spring scenic area, a hot spring rehabilitation hospital, a hot spring sanatorium, and a provincial Tang-style hot spring research institute.
