Jinhua Chorography Museum unveiled

The Jinhua Chorography Museum, located in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, was officially inaugurated in the city's library on Dec 29, 2022.

Spanning an area of approximately 400 square meters, the museum  houses a collection of 10,162 types and 15,177 volumes of books.

It is the largest local historical and cultural database in Jinhua, encompassing important historical and cultural materials such as local chronicles, Party history documents, historical records of prefectures and counties throughout different eras, historical materials of Wuju Opera, archaeology, and local customs.

Featuring notable works by renowned historical figures such as Lyu Zuqian, Chen Liang, and Song Lian, the museum serves as a showcase for the fruitful achievements of Jinhua's historical and cultural research.

The Jinhua Chorography Museum serves as a repository for chronicles, local literature, audiovisual materials, oral records, and image data from various periods. It is also a crucial window for citizens to delve into history, reflect on the present, and envision the future.
