Four county-level areas in Jinhua, Zhejiang province — Jindong district, Yiwu city, Pujiang county and Wuyi county — have been selected as pilot counties ( districts or cities) for the province's fiscal incentives targeting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Focusing on key industries such as household appliance manufacturing, seamless knitting, crystal, and kitchenware, the achievements in the four selected areas have propelled Jinhua to the top spot in the province. This accomplishment demonstrates the city's unwavering commitment and efforts to promote digital transformation among small and medium-sized enterprises.

Guided by carefully designed top-level plans, Jinhua has implemented a comprehensive set of strategies in recent years to drive the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises. It has ensured the success of these initiatives through robust financial support, with a total investment of 3.4 billion yuan ($476 million) over the past three years dedicated to subsidies aimed at supporting digital transformation.

Jinhua strategy has also included the implementation of specific policies, such as increased support for the establishment of exemplary digital enterprise models, the cultivation of outstanding digital service providers, and the development of digital transformation capability centers.

In 2023 alone, the city successfully transformed 548 companies, achieving an annual progress rate of 79.4 percent in digital transformation.
