"From preparing the documents to obtaining the license, it only took one day", said Tuma Enes, a Turkish foreign businessman in Yiwu, Jinhua, who recently obtained the business license for his new foreign trade company.

The scene provides a glimpse into Jinhua's favorable business environment, resulting from a series of proactive measures taken by authorities.

Specifically, the local government has been actively working towards providing one-stop services for foreign entrepreneurs, advancing interdepartmental collaboration and breaking down information barriers. These efforts have significantly reduced the average processing time from 29 working days to just 10.

Authorities have also implemented an array of institutional reforms, including the implementation of the tax refund policy for land departure ports as well as generating confidence by allowing a wide range of export enterprises to share policy benefits. Furthermore, guidelines on the express delivery industry have been released to help streamline operations.

Authorities have also been focusing on providing more government services by rolling out tailored service packages to meet the needs of upstream and downstream enterprises, spanning research and development, production, and sales.

The total number of market entities in the city has exceeded 1.81 million.
