Jinhua in Zhejiang province has made significant progress in alleviating burdens on enterprises. According to official statistics, a series of proactive measures implemented in 2023 resulted in savings of 22.63 billion yuan ($3.17 billion) for local businesses.

These measures include enhancing government services, reducing liquid natural gas prices, implementing favorable policies, and creating land opportunities for prospective enterprises.

To improve government services, authorities organized 48 engagement meetings attended by 9,133 companies. Additionally, they upgraded digital service platforms to streamline approval procedures, providing a more efficient and convenient experience for businesses.

To reduce production costs, the local government implemented three price reductions for non-residential natural gas, bringing the price down to 4.15 yuan per cubic meter.

Furthermore, Jinhua released a range of policies aimed at providing subsidies to eligible enterprises. In 2023 alone, 7.1 billion yuan was lent to 55,000 companies, supporting their growth and development.

In addition to these efforts, Jinhua took steps to rectify inefficient industrial enterprises. From January to November last year, issues related to a total of 4,039 inefficient industrial enterprises were addressed, covering an area of 44,300 mu (2,953.33 hectares).

Authorities also conducted 14 training sessions, benefiting 2,908 participants, and successfully attracted 44 high-caliber talents to the city in 2023.

Overall, Jinhua's comprehensive approach to alleviating burdens on enterprises has yielded significant results, fostering a more favorable environment for business growth and development in the region.
