Jinhua, located in Zhejiang province, has made impressive strides in recent years by establishing 82 rural museums.

These museums showcase unique local culture, focusing on four main themes: revolutionary culture, intangible cultural heritage masterpieces, traditional cultural exhibitions, and folk collections.

The Polaroid Camera Museum, situated in Youbu Ancient Town, Lanxi, is a notable example. It has attracted attention of flocks of tourists.

Featuring six exhibition areas displaying hundreds of exquisite antique cameras, the museum has been described as a paradise for camera enthusiasts.

Another notable rural museum is the Wuzhou Kiln Art Museum, located in Wuyi county's hot spring resort.

The art museum serves as a significant platform for promoting the integration of culture and tourism, providing a vital window for showcasing the rich tradition of Wuzhou kilns.

The establishment of these museums is part of a broader initiative aimed at providing public cultural services to rural residents. According to a representative of the city's bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism, these efforts are playing a significant role in improving people's wellbeing and enriching their spiritual lives.

Looking ahead, Jinhua plans to further expand its impact by establishing an additional 18 rural museums in 2024.
