Zhou Guixin, a custodian of the bamboo-weaving craft, a nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage in Dongyang, Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, is currently fashioning 100 dragon-shaped bamboo-carving seals to commemorate the Year of the Dragon.

Zhou emphasized the importance of tailoring the creation of bamboo-carving seals to the specific characteristics of the materials. He highlighted that different shapes and sizes of bamboo are apt for crafting distinct dragon designs.

Furthermore, Zhou underscored that each seal boasts a distinctive dragon motif, with some dragons depicted as soaring through the clouds, while others are portrayed playfully chasing pearls, all rendered with remarkable vividness.
