Jinhua sees boom in tourism over Qingming holiday

Jinhua in Zhejiang province welcomed 589,300 visitors during the three-day Qingming holiday from April 4 to 6, a 46.97-percent year-on-year increase, according to authorities.

The city's top six popular attractions, including the renowned Hengdian World Studios, the Yiwu China International Trade Market, Youbu Ancient Town scenic area in Lanxi, and the Wuzhou Ancient Town, attracted a large number of visitors.

These scenic spots also rolled out a series of cultural activities to provide a better experience to tourists, such as creating storytelling performances based on Chinese idioms, allowing visitors to gain a better understanding of the stories behind these idioms.

The major parks and old streets in the city were also popular among visitors. Places such as the Shangshan Archaeological Park in Pujiang county and Jinyi Lake in Jindong district exuded a unique spring charm, attracting visitors in large numbers.

In addition, bustling places like Poyang Ancient Street in Jindong district and Xuanping Snack Street in Wuyi county offered a delightful array of culinary delights, leaving visitors yearning for more.
