The 2025 China Yiwu International Commodities Fair (Yiwu Fair) in Mexico, organized by Zhejiang China Commodities City Group, opened on June 12, attracting over 50 enterprises from Yiwu county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province.

The three-day fair, occupying 6,600 square meters, features a wide array of product categories including home goods, stationery, outdoor leisure items, hardware machinery, building materials, and clean energy solutions.

Zhang Jiayuan, general manager of Zhejiang Xingbao Umbrella Co, highlighted, "Clients seek new products; we pursue orders — this is win-win cooperation."

She noted strong interest not only from Mexican buyers but also from those from the southern part of the United States who were drawn to the company's sun-protection umbrellas tailored to regional demand.

Dicai Crafts Company, a global leader in DIY diamond paintings and embroidery products, with foreign sales accounting for 70 percent, showed seven crates of new products catering to the North American market.

Chairman Zhong Yulong emphasized the fair's "springboard effect". "Our products have easier access to neighboring markets through Mexican distributors, which can cut logistics costs," Zhong said.

During the fair, parallel forums and matchmaking meetings will connect Yiwu exporters with Mexican officials and experts to explore investment opportunities, financial partnerships, and cultural exchanges.

As part of its "brand global expansion" initiative, Zhejiang China Commodities City Group has led the way for Yiwu companies to explore overseas markets this year, especially emerging markets like South America, Africa, and the Middle East.

In May, the first overseas exhibition of the Yiwu Fair was held in Indonesia. Following Mexico, more expos will go to Tashkent, Seoul, and Karachi.
