The 19th China Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Products Trade Fair concluded on June 15 at the Yiwu International Expo Center in Yiwu, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province.
Spanning five exhibition halls with a total area of 50,000 square meters and featuring 2,009 booths, the fair attracted 55,000 visitors over three days, including 1,496 overseas buyers — an increase of 105.49 percent year-on-year.
A total of 1,323 enterprises displayed over 200,000 products across diverse sectors such as outdoor gear, collectibles, e-sports merchandise, and anime-related items.
At Zhejiang Baimao Cultural Creativity Co's booth, hundreds of cultural and creative products like dolls and hanging decorations captivated attendees. "Over half are domestic IP creations and many are our original works," said Chen Huijun, the company's general manager.
"While exports of homegrown IP products currently account for only 10 percent of our sales, it has immense potential globally," Chen added, citing upcoming expansion plans targeting Thailand, Russia, and other countries.
The Exhibition Company of the Zhejiang China Commodities City Group, which organized the event, quoted onsite transactions of 127.35 million yuan ($17.72 million), up by 41.5 percent compared to the last edition, demonstrating thriving supply-demand dynamics driven by strong buyer-exhibitor matchmaking.
