The Jinhua Shuanglong Scenic Area, at the foot of Jinhua Mountain in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, unveiled its summer lineup on July 4.
At the opening ceremony, Chen Fengqi, Party secretary of the scenic area, highlighted Jinhua Mountain's reputation as "China's Top 10 Summer Resorts" for its summer retreat climate that is rare in the Yangtze River Delta region.
It aims to use its natural advantages for economic opportunities by making the most of the summer travel season and creating immersive night-time experiences.
Yao Lifang, a representative from Jinhua Mountain Tourism Development Group, said that this year's activity blends Song Dynasty (960–1279) aesthetics with modern creativity and natural scenery.
Visitors to Jinhua Mountain can explore a wide range of attractions — from the Forest Campsite perched at over 1,000 meters above sea level and the Lotus Sightseeing Platform, to the lakeside Lulu Park and the Dland Little Iceland scenic zone. The mountain promises a summer experience that blends cultural exploration, hands-on activities, refreshing adventures, and scenic retreats.
"The most distinctive feature is night-time experiences," Yao said.
Chen added that Jinhua Mountain has attracted several young entrepreneurs with innovative projects and established new youth-driven landmarks to develop the "night economy". For example, the "Chill in Jinhua" Market is set to fully launch on Aug 1 on Bayi Street to enrich visitors' night tour experience.
Jinhua Mountain invites global travelers to enjoy the serene nights and cool relaxation this summer.
