Jimingshan community in Yiwu — a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province — organized a cultural exploration event for over 10 participants from Afghanistan, Syria, India, Egypt, and other countries.

This activity is part of an international cultural exchange initiative of Jimingshan community, designed to promote Chinese culture and Yiwu's "six virtues" culture — which encapsulates six core ethical principles: zhongyi (loyalty), jieyi (moral resolve), renyi (benevolence), xiaoyi (filial piety), xiayi (chivalrous justice), and xinyi (trustworthiness).

The event took place in Luo Binwang Park, a Tang Dynasty-style park commemorating the Tang Dynasty (618-907) poet Luo Binwang, a native of Yiwu.

A worker dressed in hanfu as Luo Binwang guided attendees in reciting his famous poem Yong E (Ode to the Goose) while explaining his legacy inside the memorial hall.

International participants joined a treasure hunt with community workers, searching for hidden goose dolls in the park based on poetry clues. It made cultural learning tangible and more engaging.

Xie Yi, a community worker, explained that the program merges education with practice by adopting weekly language sessions paired with monthly cultural-themed outings. It has attracted over a hundred participants since its launch.

By transforming Yiwu's "six virtues" culture into games, Jimingshan community offers fresh approaches for globalizing grassroots culture, allowing foreigners to closely experience Chinese culture beyond linguistic barriers.
