The Wuzhou Confucian Culture Week commenced in Juxi village, Pan'an county, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Sept 28, opening with a licensing ceremony for the Wuzhou Confucius Culture Development Center.

In recent years, Pan'an has been dedicated to safeguarding its cultural legacy, with the development center compiling books, restoring ancient architecture, and creating museums that focus on Confucian culture.

The opening ceremony also launched a project aimed at establishing a replicable model for rural Confucian practices through the compilation of books, documentary production, educational courses, folklore research, and the design of cultural products.

The event will feature a variety of activities, including intangible cultural heritage performances, seminars on the dynamic inheritance of rural Confucianism, and study tours for international students.

A cultural hall named Heyi Juxi, meaning "why Juxi", was also opened, displaying products such as herbal oils and tie-dyed clothing. Clay figurines, created by the Pan'an county archives and depicting 10 outstanding students of Confucius, received high praise from tourists.

The hall showcases hundreds of cultural creations, offering a deep exploration of Confucian culture in Wuzhou, the ancient name for Jinhua.

It serves as a platform to display and sell Juxi's unique cultural and tourism products, integrating Confucian culture into daily life.
