A grand parade was held on Sept 27 in Hengdian town, Dongyang county-level city, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, marking the beginning of activities for the 2025 Hengdian Film & TV Festival, which will run until Nov 16.
The procession featured actors and actresses wearing a wide range of costumes who marched through Hengdian's bustling streets, interacting with residents and tourists.
For the first time, the festival has extended its duration to nearly two months, expanding beyond its main venue to include multiple scenic spots across the entire town, creating a truly immersive cultural celebration.
A highlight of this year's festival is its focus on transforming the on-screen world of film and television into real-life experiences, with visitors able to explore iconic scenes from hit TV shows and participate in role-play interactions with characters at Hengdian World Studios.
An open day at filming sites will also offer a behind-the-scenes look at film production, bridging the gap between creators and audiences.
