The 31st China Yiwu International Commodities Fair — Export Goods Exhibition kicked off on Oct 21 at the Yiwu International Expo Center in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, attracting over 2,920 enterprises.
The four-day event spans 110,000 square meters and features 4,799 booths across multiple industries, including daily consumer goods, hardware tools, electronics, toys, and sports equipment.
Zhejiang China Commodities City Group stands out for its digital trade ecosystem, focusing on logistics, financial services, and the digital market.
"We aim to introduce Yiwu's sixth-generation market to global buyers, showcasing trendy products, factory-direct goods, and innovative items like robots and drones," said Zhu Xingping, deputy general manager of the newly opened Global Digital Trade Center.
A new area for high-quality foreign trade products has been set up, hosting 134 companies showing top-tier products. Yiwu Meicimei Supply Chain Co, a long-time exhibitor specializing in the production of cups, is displaying over 300 products in the area.
"We have participated for six years, and each year we have received hundreds of potential clients," said Gui Haiqin, the company's representative, who praised the fair as an excellent platform for expanding both domestic and international markets.
The event also highlights innovation, with many exhibitors introducing tech-enabled products. Yiwu Junbo Bag Co offers products for different groups and scenarios, including a cycling backpack with features such as Bluetooth-enabled turn signals and ozone modules for odor control.
According to Wang Zhiyong, the company's marketing manager, their innovative product designs are gaining popularity in South America and Europe. He also expressed plans to further expand into global markets through the fair.
The fair is expected to receive over 180,000 visits, including more than 10,000 international attendees.
