The inaugural China (Zhejiang) Cross-Border E-commerce Import and Export Fair began on Nov 25 at the Yiwu International Expo Center in Jinhua, Zhejiang province.
This three-day event, with 2,000 booths, features five sections: overseas factories, premium industrial belts and supply chains, future commerce technologies, full-process services, and selected imported goods.
It has attracted over 1,000 leading e-commerce platforms, service providers, and manufacturers from more than 20 countries and regions.
Gan Guihua, an exhibitor from West Biking, reported engaging with hundreds of potential clients on the opening day and securing several preliminary agreements. With the rise in demand for cycling gear in markets like Europe and Southeast Asia, "our sales on cross-border e-commerce platforms have been increasing," Gan added.
West Biking is adapting its products for various global markets and optimizing logistics using Yiwu's industrial and logistics advantages, ensuring faster deliveries. Gan emphasized the fair's role in connecting with clients and gaining industry insights.
The fair brings together leading platforms including Alibaba International, AliExpress, and Amazon, covering emerging markets like Russia and Africa, with the goal to help "Made in China" products reach global consumers more efficiently.
The fair includes a Global E-commerce Ecosystem Conference and multiple market and talent sessions to enhance business interactions.
Between January and October, Yiwu's e-commerce revenue hit 472.15 billion yuan ($66.64 billion), with cross-border sales reaching 144.98 billion yuan, up 23.66 percent year-on-year.
