The 2025 "Silk Road for All Children" International Children's Literature Week kicked off in Wuyi county, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Dec 6. The event has brought together children's literature authors, publishers, and animation producers from 25 countries and regions to collaboratively promote the global influence of children's literature.

At the opening ceremony, a group of "Fairy Tale Wuyi" promotion ambassadors was appointed, and several major international children's literature cooperation projects were announced. These included the China-France Child-Friendly Towns initiatives and the adaptation of the animated series Return to Nanxia — Wuyi's first local TV animation.

Additionally, accompanying activities including a children's literature works exhibition and the Nanxia Market have begun, inviting children and families to experience the magic of fairy tales firsthand.

With its profound cultural heritage, Zhejiang provides fertile ground for creativity in children's literature, while Wuyi's picturesque landscapes continue to inspire and fuel the imaginations of writers.

In this 10th year of the "Fairy Tale Wuyi" brand, Wuyi has successfully integrated domestic and international resources through content creation, product development, study tours, and global promotion, creating a comprehensive industry ecosystem.

To date, 45 fairy tale works by Wuyi authors have been exported, with 28 published across 12 countries and regions. Additionally, eight local fairy tale study tour bases have contributed to a 10 percent annual increase in revenue.
