Jinhua athlete Ye Jielong delivered a standout performance at the 2025–26 National Bobsleigh Championships, securing two gold medals and one bronze.
Competing at China's top-level bobsleigh event in Yanqing, Beijing, the Yongkang native claimed gold in the four-man event (senior group) and the two-man event (youth group), along with a bronze in the two-man event (senior group).
Born in 2000, Ye began his sporting career in athletics before transitioning to bobsleigh in 2018 through a national cross-discipline talent program. Known for his solid fundamentals and composure under pressure, he has steadily risen through the ranks.
He previously won a national title in 2019, claimed a U23 four-man gold at the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation World Junior Championships in 2020, and represented China at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, achieving a historic best result for Zhejiang athletes at the Olympic event.
His latest achievements further highlight Jinhua's growing strength in winter sports, as locally trained athletes continue to make their mark on both the national and global stage.
