In the first quarter of 2026, China's thermal bottle exports soared to 5 billion yuan ($732.45 million), driven by the global popularity of Chinese lifestyle trends on social media, such as "being Chinese" and "drinking hot water".

The brand Tyeso, based in Wuyi county, Jinhua, has capitalized on cross-border e-commerce and social platforms, evolving from a traditional manufacturer to a trendy brand favored by overseas consumers.

In the first three months, Tyeso's overseas sales continued to rise, selling nearly 300,000 units on TikTok and generating over $2.6 million. Its products are known for their eye-catching designs that offer both attractive aesthetics and good value.

Xia Hongqiao from Wuyi Tachiso Drinkware highlighted how innovations like dual-lid designs and phone-stand handles have solidified the company's presence in Western and Asian markets and given it a significant boost in the Southeast Asian market.

Xia stressed that while Chinese lifestyle trends provided initial momentum, sustainable success depends on localization and product fit. "Customers buy our cups not just for 'drinking hot water,' but for their insulation, portability, and style, matching their real needs."

Zhejiang's Yongkang, Wuyi, and Jinyun have formed a unique industrial cluster, offering a competitive edge in the global cup market through efficient production and agile delivery, embodying the global allure of the Chinese lifestyle and Zhejiang's industrial strength.
