The Yiwu Railway Station, the starting point for the Yiwu-Dongyang rail transit line in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, began trial operations on April 26.
The station covers a total area of 12,85 square meters, featuring a two-level underground design. Its scientific design and comprehensive functionality enable seamless transfers between rail transit and trains, offering passengers a convenient experience and significantly improving cross-regional travel efficiency.
The "Jinhua Changxing Center" at Yiwu High-Speed Rail Station was also inaugurated. Going forward, the city plans to leverage the center and the Jinhua-Yiwu-Dongyang rail transit line's station network to create an efficient intermodal transport system that combines rail hubs, high-speed rail lines, and last-mile delivery. The integration of transportation and logistics aims to generate new industrial momentum and support the efficient nationwide distribution of Jinhua's manufacturing output.
