A group of 68 key digital trade enterprises from Jinhua, Zhejiang province, showcased their innovations from Sept 23 to 27 at the Fifth Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE) in Hangzhou.
Jinhua's participation set new records in exhibitor numbers, exhibition space, and registered business visitors. Special sections featured the Yiwu International Trade Market, Yongkang hardware, and Dongyang film culture, displaying achievements in digital trade, smart manufacturing, and entertainment.
In the Silk Road E-commerce section, Zhejiang China Commodities City Group showcased platforms like the Global Digital Trade Center, Chinagoods, and the "World Yiwu" trade model, along with products such as drones and smart wearables. The "World Yiwu" trade model highlighted 28 AI applications that enhance production and translation.
The Yongkang hardware exhibition area featured digital twin factories and AI visual inspections for smart production upgrades. Zhejiang Kuyi Robotics presented an autonomous sanitation robot with a 90 percent self-developed component rate.
Dongyang's film culture section combined technology and film elements, showing AI's role in script development and cultural adaptation and illustrating a new creative paradigm.
With a strong industrial base, Jinhua's cross-border e-commerce exports reached 120.48 billion yuan ($17.94 billion) from January to August, up 29.84 percent year-on-year, driving digital trade growth.
