Recently, Catarina Chen, a returnee from Portugal, came to the Zhe'Ou Livestreaming Base and Wenzhou Data Security Hub to experience the rapid development of Wenzhou's digital economy.

Zhe'Ou Livestreaming Base, which has given rise to many excellent anchors in Wenzhou, is an industry-education integration project established by Wenzhou Science and Technology Vocational College.

It trains more than 3,500 people annually, bringing much talent to the livestreaming e-commerce industry. The base launches about 150 livestreaming marketing activities every month with monthly sales reaching an average of 7 million yuan ($1.01 million), making outstanding contributions to the development of Wenzhou's digital economy.

At the beginning, Catarina was a little nervous and would stumble over her words when she was introducing the goods. However, after the trainer's guidance, she improved greatly, giving viewers a worthwhile introduction.

How does the Data Security Hub protect Wenzhou's digital economy? The hub has made use of the diskless technology to protect data privacy. It has also set up the Zhejiang Big Data Trading Center, which ensures data is legally traded. A neutral platform has also been built to process the data anonymously and prevent data leakage. Many measures have been taken synchronously to provide security for the development of Wenzhou's digital economy.

Catarina said that Wenzhou's digital economy and digital security complement each other nicely, giving her confidence in Wenzhou's future development.
