The Wenzhou Dragon Boat Center, the venue for the upcoming Asian Games' dragon boat event, conducted a drill on Aug 30 in preparation for the highly anticipated sporting event.
During the drill, scenarios for the men's and women's 200-meter straight-line races were simulated, with the center's operation personnel and volunteers, dressed in designated uniforms, in attendance.
The purpose of the rehearsal was to test the center's operational efficiency and its ability to handle potential emergencies. In addition, the exercise underscored the significance of close collaboration between the city administration, the dragon boat center, and the Asian Games Village in terms of managing traffic flow and effectively responding to any unexpected situations that may arise.
The drill was the second of its kind this month, following one held on Aug 22. These measures are integral to the local government's efforts to ensure the Games' success.
