The 2026 "Picturesque Zhejiang in US Photographers' Lens" China-US cultural exchange event began in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, on June 6. The following day, 14 photographers from the United States, alongside five local photographers and foreign teachers from Wenzhou-Kean University, embarked on a journey through Wencheng and Yongjia counties to capture the region's breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

In Yongjia, the group visited Nanxi River Scenic Area, where emerald waters and towering peaks formed a stunning backdrop. Traditional fishing activities, with fishermen casting nets and cormorants diving into the river, added a lively touch to the serene landscape. The unique blend of natural beauty and authentic local customs captivated the US photographers.

The group then explored Lishui Street in Yantou town, a historic street with ancient houses exuding timeless charm. Photographers captured the rustic architecture and rich folk customs, which showcased Yongjia's deep-rooted agrarian culture.

In Wencheng, the majestic Baizhangji Waterfall left the photographers in awe. Amid the cascading falls, a model wearing traditional Chinese attire posed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

Delaney Faith Masal, a US photographer, expressed his surprise at the breathtaking scenery, saying he will share his photos and recommend the place to friends visiting China.

The eight-day event will continue across Zhejiang, culminating in a photography exhibition in Hangzhou that highlights the diverse perspectives of Chinese and US photographers.
