Wenzhou Airport achieved a historic milestone with a cargo throughput exceeding 100,000 tons on Dec 13.

This marks the first time the airport surpassed the 100,000-metric-ton annual milestone, signifying a significant advancement in aviation logistics. The accomplishment provides added impetus to the economic development of Wenzhou and its surrounding areas.

In recent years, Wenzhou Airport has strategically enhanced its aviation logistics services. Measures such as optimizing route networks, increasing international cargo flight frequency, and implementing air cargo incentives contributed to a solid foundation for rapid cargo throughput growth.

This week, Wenzhou Airport inaugurated an all-cargo flight route and introduced Boeing 757 capacity from YTO Cargo Airlines, upgrading stationed all-cargo aircraft from one Boeing 737 to three Boeings 757 within a year and a half.

The airport anticipates a five-place rise in the national cargo throughput ranking this year, solidifying its position at the forefront of national growth.
